Senior Days of Enrichment
Senior Days offer an
opportunity for our "enlightened elders" to listen to presentations on topics of
intellectual interest, engage in lively discussion, offer wisdom, share a meal
and fellowship with each other.
Dates:
Second Friday of each month 9:30-11:45 am
Cost: $25
per person, which includes noon meal with the Benet Hill Sisters

will perform and discuss excerpts from 4 Chopen Polonaides in comparison with slides by the French artist Eugene
Delacroix, and Norwegian Dances by Edward Grieg to costume slides from
collections of the Oslo Folk Museum, and excerpts from Manuel De Falla's
four Spanish Pieces with slides of the Spanish Provinces depicted by artist
Josquin Sorolla. Presentation will be held in Our Lady of Peace Chapel. Join
us and be swept away by moving music and imagery. |

largest religion. Highlights include: Islamic origins and growth, the five
pillars of Muslim belief, the Muslim view of life's 4 stages and a virtual
Pilgrimage to Mecca. "Understanding Islam" explores the beauty and
complexities inherent in the Muslim understanding of God.
Kurt is a Catholic member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and has 4 years
experience teaching the Catechism of the Catholic Church to adults. |

Meet" |
| A new way of
understanding God came to Sister Anne Madeleine when she studied Physics
some 50 years ago. She saw God in the laws of nature, and then in the
mysteries that science reveals. The writings of Pierre Teihard de Chardin,
S. J. showed her the relationship of Christianity to science. |
