Sister Alcuin Seer was born in Frankfort, Germany, September 19, 1890; she entered Mt. St. Scholastica, Atchison, Kansas in 1914 and became a charter member of Benet Hill Priory in 1963. As a teacher on the elementary level, Sister Alcuin taught in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa.
