2019 ~ 2020 Chamber Concert Series

The melodic sounds of chamber music coming from the chapel at Benet Hill Monastery represent a time-honored tradition of the Benedictines’ appreciation for God’s gift of music. Take time on a Sunday afternoon to enjoy the gift of music in this beautiful setting.

2019 – 2020 Titles and Dates:

Oct. 27, 2019 ~ The Catholic Cadet Choir of the USAFA (FREE)
The Catholic Cadet Choir of the United States Air Force Academy is comprised of cadets from all four classes. The choir provides music for all Sunday Masses at the prestigious Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel and perform for concerts and events throughout Colorado. This year the Catholic Cadet Choir has been invited to sing for the Chrism Mass at the Basilica Of The National Shrine Of The Immaculate Conception in Washington DC. The Cadet Choir will present a free afternoon of sacred and patriot favorites under the direction of Kate Johnson.

Jan. 12, 2020 ~ Parish House Baroque
An afternoon of early music on period instruments around the theme of Epiphany and Twelfth Night with Parish House Baroque.

Feb. 23, 2020 ~ Colin McAllister, Classical Guitar
Join guitarist Colin McAllister and special guest countertenor Derek Keller, for a program of sacred works for voice and guitar including settings of Hildegard of Bingen and a multimedia experience based on the works of the 12th-century theologian, Joachim of Fiore.

Mar. 22, 2020 ~ Crystal Creek Folk Ensemble 
Crystal Creek Folk Ensemble brings a delightful afternoon of both modern and ancient instruments with folk and classical music to Benet Hill for the first time!
 

May 3, 2020 ~ CSU Pueblo Duo 
The artistry of pianist Dr. Zahari Metchkov and violinist Dr. Timothy Hsu will bring our concert series year to an elegant finish.
