Earth Day Retreat #2

Mother Nature sent a forest full of snow on April 22 so we’re planning Earth Day Retreat #2! Join Sisters and Oblates of Benet Hill Monastery in learning how responding to the cry of our earth is intertwined with responding to the cry of the poor (Laudato Si’ Goals #1 & #2). Learn about culturally modified trees and walk the grounds to use your observation skills.

Bring a sack lunch and water bottle, and wear sturdy walking shoes and layers for our changeable Colorado weather! The retreat will start in the classroom in the monastery but will include plenty of time outdoors. This retreat is hosted by the Care of the Earth Covenant Group of Benet Hill Monastery.
