Sister Jan Ginzkey, OSB leads these weekend retreats offering rest, renewal, and opportunities to experience labyrinth meditation, forest bathing, and sacred culturally modified trees. Experience a summer pilgrimage at Benet Hill Monastery. Each walk and the retreat are unique. The weekend retreats begin Saturday morning and end early Sunday afternoon.

Overnight packages in our cozy retreat homes include:

  • the workshop; and

  • lodging (Retreatants may add a Friday lodging option if they wish); and

  • five meals (Sat breakfast – Sun 2pm dinner)

Commuters are also welcome, with workshop and meal options available.

Culturally Modified Trees Retreat

Saturday, October 10, 9am – Sunday, October 11, 1:30pm:

Enjoy a weekend retreat beginning Saturday morning and ending early Sunday afternoon. We offer an overnight package in our cozy retreat homes for those who want to deepen into the weekend alone or with friends. Retreatants may add a Friday lodging option if they wish. Commuters are also welcome, with the option of including meals. The retreat includes a presentation of the Ute history in the Pikes Peak Region, journalling, forest bathing and a tree tour at Fox Run Regional Park.

Labyrinth Retreat

Saturday, September 26, 9am – Sunday, September 27, 1:30pm Pilgrimage to Awaken Joy

The culminating event of this summer’s labyrinth pilgrimage is a weekend retreat beginning Saturday morning and ending early Sunday afternoon. We offer an overnight package in our cozy retreat homes for those who want to deepen into the weekend alone or with friends. Retreatants may add a Friday lodging option if they wish. We also offer workshop and meal options for commuters. During the retreat, you will learn how the “Masters of the Compass” created the labyrinth and the Cathedral of Chartres, experience forest bathing, and have ample time for praying the labyrinth and journaling.
