Meet the counselor

Sister Clare Carr, OSB, MA, LPC, CAC II

I am generally a CBT therapist and have worked with men and women for the past 21 years. I am a Licensed Professional Therapist and certified as an addictions counselor. Over these 21 years, I have met many brave men and women seeking healing and wholeness. I have always been touched by the courage of my clients in revealing their deepest pain. I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), used with the processing of traumatic memories. I fully support the practices of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and I am open and affirming to the LBGTQIA+ community. I also have a great trust in the dynamics of a spiritual life.

I offer a sliding scale payment option and take Tricare West insurance. I generally work with adults both in individual and couples therapy. At present I am taking new clients and I work both in face-to-face and online settings.
